  • ALICE IN WONDERLAND – 2025

    Stamford Arts Centre’s professional in-house pantomime returns with a brand new adventure – ALICE IN WONDERLAND. Made in Stamford…for Stamford by the arts centre team with lots of local cast and creatives.

    Join Alice as she journeys down the rabbit hole and into the heart of Wonderland, meeting all kinds of curious characters along the way. However, she’ll need to be careful to avoid the Queen of Hearts if she wants to keep a-head! Will she ever manage to get home? Will the White Rabbit ever be on time? Will the Hatter ever actually sell a hat?

    The show is packed with colourful costumes, hilarious jokes, loads of local nods & references and stunning scenery designed by local artist Karen Neale.

  • MOTHER GOOSE – 2024

    Stamford Arts Centre teamed up local theatre company Starbright Entertainments, along with local cast and creatives, to bring you this magical pantomime – MOTHER GOOSE!

    Starring Victoria Fallow-Norton as Fairy Virtue, Hannah Peacock as Silly Millie, Erin Billington as Demon Vanity, Simon Aylin as King Bumble and our very own Venue Manager Phil Norton as Mother Goose. Also featuring young performers from Welland School of Dancing and wonderful scenery designed by local Stamford artist Karen Neale.

    Mother Goose’s heart may be full but her purse certainly isn’t – she’s behind on her rent, in danger of eviction and dare we mention those rising energy bills? However, her fate is about to change when a magical goose that lays golden eggs mysteriously appears in town. The goose may be the answer to her financial woes but Mother Goose is not completely happy as her family and friends still make fun of her. Can she be tempted to give up her wealth in search of youth and beauty?

    Mother Goose may be one of the oldest pantomime stories, but this adventure is bang up to date with hilarious antics, toe tapping tunes, and a whole host of local nods and references for a really unique production set in our beautiful town.

    Please be aware that all costumes will require collection/return to PE9 area, we do not allow them to be transported by post/courier under any circumstances. No alteration/pinning is possible so please do check measurements carefully to ensure a suitable fit. No wigs are available for hire.

     

  • SLEEPING BEAUTY – 2026

    Starbright Entertainments have teamed up with Airdrie Town Hall once again to bring you a brand new Easter pantomime adventure – SLEEPING BEAUTY.
     
    Easter favourites IAN ‘SHEEPIE’ SMITH and GARY MORRISON are back to bring the laughs joined by GILL McGOWAN as the Fairy Godmother, PHIL NORTON as the wicked Carabosse and MEGAN-BETH PATTIE as Sleeping Beauty.
     
    Furious at not being invited to the christening of the Princess, the wicked fairy Carabosse places a terrible curse that will cause her Royal Highness to sleep for 100 years if she should prick her finger on a spinning wheel before her 18th birthday. Can Muddles and Nanny keep her away from danger? Can the Fairy Godmother keep Carabosse at bay? Or for the first time in pantoland, could evil actually win?
     

    Now in it’s 9th year, the Easter Eggs-travaganza is all the usual fun of panto in a brand new production created just for Airdrie. Tickets always sell fast so book now to join the fun!

    Starbright Entertainments have teamed up with Airdrie Town Hall once again to bring you a brand new Easter pantomime adventure – THE LITTLE MERMAID.
     
    Easter favourites IAN ‘SHEEPIE’ SMITH and GARY MORRISON are back to bring the laughs joined by regulars HOLLY REYNOLDS as the Little Mermaid and PHIL NORTON as the Wicked Sea Witch plus GILL McGOWAN as the Queen of the Ocean.
     
    Dive under the sea to join the Little Mermaid as she longs for an adventure above the waves. But can they defeat the evil Sea Witch who plans to trick her with wicked schemes?
     
    Now in it’s 8th year, the Easter Eggs-travaganza is all the usual fun of panto in a brand new production created just for Airdrie. Tickets always sell fast so book now to join the fun!
     

  • RUMPELSTILTSKIN – 2024

    Dame Morag the Miller loves to boast to anyone that will listen about her daughter Mira – even if she sometimes stretches the truth! Unfortunately, when she tells the greedy King that her daughter can spin straw into gold, Mira is locked up in the castle tower until she can prove it. Lucky for her, a mysterious man appears one night who can help, but the more he helps the higher the cost!

    Who else does the mysterious man have deals with? Will Merlin the Wizard help Artie find his inner hero to save Mira in time? Will Dame Morag ever find a man? It’s all the usual fun of Motherwell’s Easter Panto, relocated to Airdrie Town Hall.

     

  • SHEEPIE’S SHOWTIME – 2023

    Our spectacular summer season took place at Valley View at Gouldings where we installed a stunning pop up theatre along with the incredible team at the park. Sheepie and Gill presented two mini pantomimes over the season – Red Riding Hood & Jack and the Beanstalk.

    Both shows were exceptionally well attended and audience feedback was incredible. Our stunning mini theatre had full theatre quality lighting and sound along with specially designed and constructed scenery and costumes.
